Sustainable lightning system in the STYLEX logistics center

Much of the world’s electricity consumption comes from lighting, which is responsible for almost 5% of global greenhouse emissions, and efficient and sustainable energy use is one of our greatest resources.

The overall lighting of the STYLEX logistics center in Bad Bentheim was converted to a modern LED lighting system – on 11,000 m² of storage space, 110 LED lamps ensure significant energy savings and reduction of CO2 emissions by more than 50%. The modern LED lighting system improves energy efficiency and ensures excellent light quality (economic work, well-being, increased productivity).

Also, the smaller Carstensen warehouse has been illuminated with LEDs since 2016, which led to significantly better illumination and reduction of energy costs. Profitability calculations stated a saving of 80 tons of CO2 for a period of ten years with a constant shift course.
